Wesley Eugene Berryhill, born on May 16, 1953, in Saline County Arkansas, lost his battle with cancer on November 20, 2019, while at home with his family at the age of 66.

Wesley graduated from Violet Hill School in 1971 and entered the US Air Force stationed at Laredo and Sheppard Air Force Bases. Throughout his life, Wesley was a gardener, a fix-it-all, an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment, a notorious storyteller, a lover of small animals, and a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved and supported his family tirelessly.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father, Horace Berryhill. He has been survived by his mother Marie Berryhill (Jones) of Violet Hill AR, his siblings Mason Berryhill (Korbi Berryhill) of Wichita Falls and Mary Sweeney (Michael Sweeney) of Lowell AR, his children, John Berryhill and Colleen Moore (Mitch Moore) both of Evening Shade AR, his grandchildren Tyler Nilsson-Berryhill, Johnna Berryhill, Cameryn Berryhill, Daniel Berryhill, and Brittany Moore, his great-grandchildren Zachary Nilsson and John Nilsson, and the love of his life, a little stray dog named Cheeto.

A drop-in memorial service will be held at the Franklin Community Center (Corner of Main and Honeysuckle) in Franklin, AR, on Dec. 7, 2019, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

We encourage all family and friends to attend and help us celebrate Wesley’s wonderful life. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
