Tommy Lee Roberson, 82 of Pleasant Plains died Friday, Nov. 29, 2019. He was born March 22, 1937 in Bald Knob to Jeffie Melton and Stella Mae Staggs Roberson. He was a retired furniture salesman, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of Independence Missionary Baptist Church at Pleasant Plains.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Cloy Gene Roberson.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Roberson; one son, Timothy Roberson (Leigha); two daughters, Tammy Pierce (Bradley) and Tonya Lamb (Phillip) all of Pleasant Plains; four grandchildren, Ryan Pierce (Rebecca), Kyle Pierce, Courtney Mayhue (Cole) and Kameron Roberson; four great-grandchildren, Haden Pierce, Sawyer Pierce, Lynnen Mayhue and Cai Mayhue; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Timothy Altom and Bro. Wesley Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Union Grove Cemetery at Pleasant Plains.
Pallbearers were Bradley Pierce, Ryan Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Phillip Lamb, Ricky Roberson and Timothy Roberson.
Honorary pallbearers were Kameron Roberson and Haden Pierce.
Arrangements were handled by Qualls Funeral Home of Batesville.
