Gladys Beatrice Collom, 93, of Newport departed this life Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019. She was born March 19, 1926 to Raymond and Lucy Warmath.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newport. Mrs. Collom enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee “Roger” Collom; son, Thomas Wayne Collom; daughter, Karen Beth Sadler; and granddaughter, Danielle Bethany Lee Pemberton.
Her survivors are son, James D. Collom of Newport; daughter, Kathy Gregory and husband Thomas of Newport; grandchildren, Sonya Henderson of Newport, Sharla Bethel of Newport, Kevin Sexton of Batesville, Shane Sexton of Dallas, Texas, Brandon Collom of Tuckerman, Brent Collom of Tuckerman, Justin Collom of Tuckerman, and Sarah Collom of Jonesboro; fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
