This weekend, Main Street Batesville will celebrate “An Old Fashioned Christmas.” The event will feature a wide variety of activities, performances, vendors, and shopping – all on Main Street in Batesville.

Friday, Dec. 13:
3 p.m. – Vendors Open in the Citizens Bank Pocket Park
6 p.m. – Christmas Ballroom Dance performance by NADT Dance Academy.
6:30 p.m. – Beard Contest hosted by Sweeney’s Men’s Grooming (check-in by 6 p.m.)
7 p.m. – Live entertainment featuring folk band, The Gravel Yard Bluegrass Band
*All events will be held inside the Citizens Bank Pocket Park and on the same block*.
Saturday, Dec. 14:
9 a.m. – Vendors Open
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Free Classic Christmas Cartoons at the Melba Theater.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Santa’s Toy Workshop hosted by Home Depot of Batesville. Kids will be able to build a craft
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Kids’ Gingerbread Decorating Workshop at Batesville Area Arts Council
10:30 a.m. – Performance from “Nutcracker” by NADT
11 a.m. – Performance by Batesville Community Theatre (BCT)
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Birdhouse Painting at Gallery 246 (*fee applies*)
12 p.m. – Storytime on the Citizens Bank Pocket Park Stage
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Old-Fashioned Games
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Santa Claus meet and greet in the Independence County Library
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. – MonsterBoy live performance
