Authorities say a man was found passed out in the Stone County Court Complex parking lot on Dec. 11.
The man was identified in court information as Clarence Baker (pictured), 44. After running a check on him, Mountain View police found Baker had an active parole absconder warrant for his arrest.
While taking Baker into custody, officers found two baggies of what later tested positive as methamphetamine and a third baggie containing a crushed pill that was unable to be identified, according to the court documents.
During the booking process, a used hypodermic needle was also located on Baker. The residue inside the needle also tested positive as methamphetamine, the documents said.
Baker was charged for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor drinking in public, and was charged as a habitual offender due to his history of previous felony convictions.
