The Lady Southerners led from the opening tip until the final buzzer Friday night dominating the Pocahontas Lady Redskins, 66-42.
The Lady Southerners built a double-digit lead in the second quarter and never looked back, running their record to 9-2 overall, 3-0 in conference play.
Reese Gardener had 28 points, London Cuzzort earned 18, and Olivia Allen scored 12.
The Southside senior boys went back and forth with Pocahontas until late in the third quarter when the shots stopped falling, with Pocahontas hitting free throws at the end pulled away to 55-40 dropping the Southerners to 3-6 overall, 1-2 in conference play.
Jonathan Shane led the Southerners with 10 points.
