Authorities are investigating the theft of a utility vehicle from the Cedar Ridge School campus.
School Resource Officer Lt. Franklin Ashley Edwards reported that Tim Cunningham, agriculture teacher for Cedar Ridge School, had parked a camo Intimidator UTV last Friday next to the cafeteria for an event taking place later in the day at the school.
Cunningham discovered the vehicle had been stolen at 6:30 p.m., Edwards said.
After checking the school video, Edwards saw a single male subject leaving the area on the UTV at 5:50 p.m.
The video was then made available to the Independence County Sheriff’s Department.
Edwards also noted the stolen UTV had a light bar on top.
It has been entered into the National and Arkansas Crime Information Centers.
