Batesville Pioneers took on the Westside Warriors on the road in conference play

The Batesville Pioneers split on the road late last week against the Warriors of Westside Consolidated in Jonesboro. 

The boys fell 66-40 with Caleb Anderson leading the way for the Pioneers with 12 points.

They fall to 10-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference and bow set their sights on the Heber Springs Holiday Tournament.  

The Lady Pioneers dominated the Lady Warriors by a final of 77-36.

Izzy Higginbottom was only on the floor for a quarter and a half as she led all scorers with 18 points. Taylor Rush ended with 13.

Sophomore Casi Gee came off the bench and played great defensively. Gee racked up six rebounds two assists and had one steal.

Lady Pioneers are unbeaten on the year at 12-0 and will now face off against Truman tonight in the first round of the NEA Tournament on the campus of A-State in Jonesboro.
