Geneva Mae Broadwater, 91 of Cave City died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at her home. She was born Aug. 30, 1928, in Floral, Ark. to Rufo F. and Birtha Alexander Sharp. She was a retired school teacher, having retired from Poughkeepsie High School and was a member of Eastside Southern Baptist Church in Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle Broadwater; a daughter, Phyllis Broadwater, brother, Gerald Sharp and sisters, Birvel Cousins and Bea Cousins.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Reed (Mike) of Cave City; brother, Rolland Sharp (Norma) of Searcy; grandchildren, Joe Don Qualls (fiancé, Jordan) of Australia, Brandon Qualls (Kayla), Caleb Qualls (Carlie) and Kayla Barr (Justin) all of Cave City; step-grandchild, Brandon Reed (Jalesa) of Batesville; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
No funeral services are planned. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
