Report: Body of female discovered at Jamestown Wildlife Management Area

Authorities say a body was discovered this morning by hunters at the Jamestown Wildlife Management Area.

According to a report from KAIT, Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens says hunters came across the body of a female around 6:50 a.m. at the entrance of the management area. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock.

Anyone with information on the case should call the Independence County Sheriff’s Department at (870) 793-8838.
