news-background-1-2-8

16th Judicial District Circuit Judge Don McSpadden recused himself today from the Hunter Biden paternity case that has been filed by an Independence County woman.

Judge McSpadden told White River Now that the case will now go on the docket of another 16th Judicial District Circuit Judge, Holly Meyer.

The case has drawn a considerable amount of media attention because it involves Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, who is also a 2020 presidential candidate.

A November filing on behalf of the plaintiff noted DNA testing had established with “scientific certainty” that Hunter Biden is the father of the baby.
