Startreea Denton, 40, Newport passed away Dec. 23, 2019, in Little Rock.
She was born Jan. 14, 1979, to Joe Lewis Cothrine and Future Watson Lawson.
She was a member of the Upper Room Church of God. She enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, designing floral arrangements, styling hair and make~up.
Denton was preceded in death by her father, daughter, For`Ever Denton; sister, Kermeta Overland; grandparents, Thomas (TA) and Nellie Hatchett Watson.
Starteea is survived by her husband, DeAngelo Denton of the home; her children, Treasure Denton of Newport, Benjamin Collier of Newport, Shantierra Denton of Newport; mother, Future Lawson of Newport; two brothers, Keith Cothrine of Conway, DeMone Overland of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Arlenda Lawson of Austin, Texas, Joetta Cothrine of Texas; one grandchild, Shamar Taylor of Nashville, Tennessee; niece, Tarquesha Walker; sister-in-law, Eboni Denton Rowe of Newport; great aunt, Lois Mae Jackson of Peoria, Illinois; nieces and nephews: Shamarion, Ja`quaris, Jaylon, Terrion, Darrion, Isaiah, Aziounna, Asia, Terra J, Joshua, Zachariah, Shelton, and Eric; special friends: Shalina Latonya Anders, Kandi Grandberry, Niknotcha (Foxxy) Cox-Taylor, Ikeishia Friar, Kassandra Mosby, Luticia Patterson, and Gary Allen.
