The Melbourne Bearkatz took to the road Tuesday night to take on the Marmaduke Greyhounds in conference play.
After two Junior High victories, the Lady Katz took to the court against the rival Lady Greyhounds.
The Lady Katz struggled to create separation early, leading by only three at halftime.
It was all Melbourne after that, as Kenley McCarn scored 14 of her game-high 24 points after intermission, leading the Lady Katz to the 47-39 win.
The Bearkatz took to the court next and held the Greyhounds to single digits in three of the four quarters en route to a 62-32 win.
Layton Hennings led the way with 13 points, Riley Clairday added 11.
