The Independence County Sheriff’s Department has issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for a gray 2005 Ford F-150 extended cab truck.
In the incident report, Deputy Jeremy Spohr said the vehicle is owned by Jackie Ethridge, 44, of Jamestown Loop. Ethridge told authorities that on Tuesday, Jan. 14, he left his pickup parked at the Exxon station atop Ramsey Mountain. When he came back for it on Friday, Jan. 17, after he got out of jail, the report said, the truck was gone.
The management of Exxon said they didn’t have it removed from the property. And witnesses said two men had been seen “messing” with the truck.
An investigation of the theft is underway, and the two men, identified by the witnesses, are suspects. Spohr said Ethridge provided some possible locations the two men might be.
Meanwhile, officers are on the lookout for the gray 2005 extended cab Ford pickup truck.
