Have the “Winter Blues”?

Then, check out Winter Wednesdays at North Heights Church of Christ.

Through the month of February, the church, located above the fairgrounds at 200 Warrior Rd. in Batesville, will be having a guest speaker, Joe Brumfield, talk about mental health awareness.

Brumfield has served as a Bible professor at Harding University in Searcy since 1992. He is licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of Arkansas, and his counseling work specializes in marital and premarital therapy. His counseling work also includes marriage preparation and planning, conflict resolution, dating relationships, and family problem counseling.

The series kicks off this Wednesday, Feb. 5, with a chili supper provided by Thrivent Financial beginning at 5 p.m. The classes then begin at 6:30 p.m. Each class will be held at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday through February.

Alex Mills (pictured) with North Heights Church of Christ recently visited with Big Daddy Randy Alan about the series during an interview at the White River Now family of radio stations.
