Obituary: Don Edward Starks

Don E. Starks, 75, of Batesville passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2020.

He was born April 13, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to William Starks and Ethel Mae (Bell) Starks.

Don worked in the poultry processing industry for over 35 years. He was a wonderful husband and father who loved spending time with his family; he was fun-loving and enjoyed playing dominos, horseshoes, and all kinds of games. He also loved to hunt and fish as well.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Delorise ”Lucille” (Pearson) Starks; son, Ricky Starks of Batesville; two daughters, Pamela Delorise Bolen (Ronny) and Donna Kay Starks both of Southside; two grandchildren, Christa Bolen and Ashley Baker; great-grandchild, Grayson Baker; brother, Ronald Dean Cameron of Cord; and two sisters, Brenda Richardson (Darrell) of Cord and Deborah Pruiett of Desha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service will be held.
