Mountain View Yellow Jackets were in action Friday, Feb.7. In girls’ action, the Lady Jackets and the Rose Bud Lady Ramblers met in a final conference game with the Lady Yellowjackets being victorious with a final score of 54-34 with the Lady Jackets maintaining their first-place standing in conference.
The leading scorers for the Lady Jackets were Josie Storey with 23 points, Caitlyn Lopez with 11 points, Chaelann Vickers with eight points. The Lady Jackets finish in conference with a 11-1 record.
The boys followed with the Yellowjackets facing off with the Rose Bud Ramblers in a tough fought matchup.
The Yellowjackets were victorious with the final score of 54-45. Leading scorers for the Yellowjackets were Brayden Scribner with 21 points, Bryce Baird with 11 points, and Elijah Carlton with eight points.
They finish conference play with 5-6 record. Both teams will play Melbourne in an away game of non-conference action Feb. 11 to finish up the regular season before travelling to Bergman for the district tournament the week of Feb.17.
