Southside Southerners challenged the Blytheville Chickasaws Friday night

The sixth-ranked Lady Southerners had six players in double figures Friday night as they rolled over the Blytheville Lady Chickasaws 77-40 to get their 20th win of the season and set up a Senior Night showdown with the Batesville Lady Pioneers.
After a close first quarter, the Southerners dominated the rest of the game moving to 12-1 in Conference play.
London Cuzzort had 15 for the Lady Southerners and Shelby Warden chipped in 14 to lead a balanced Lady Southerner attack.
The sixth-ranked Lady Southerners and the number one ranked Lady Pioneers will play Tuesday night at Southside at 6 p.m. to decide the number one seed for the conference tournament, the Southerners will be battling for a share of the conference title with a win, and the Pioneers will be outright champions with a win.
The number two ranked Blytheville Chickasaws hit six, three-pointers in the first quarter against the Southerners, building a lead that they maintained throughout the game, winning 74-36 on Senior Night in Blytheville.
Trevor Longo had his best game of the season scoring a team-leading 16 points against the best defensive team in boys 4A basketball.
The Southerners will do battle with the Pioneers on Tuesday at Southside, on Senior Night.
Senior Night festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and games will start at 6 p.m.
