Batesville girl reported missing yesterday found safe in Oklahoma; kidnapping charges pending

An 11-year-old girl who was reported missing yesterday in Batesville has been found safe in Oklahoma, according to officials from the Batesville Police Department.

Kidnapping charges are pending in Oklahoma and possibly, here in-state for the alleged abductor, officials say. Two other individuals could also face possible charges.

This was a combined effort of the FBI, Arkansas State Police, Oklahoma State Police, Missouri State Police, Batesville Police Department, and authorities in Oklahoma City, according to the BPD.
