The Batesville Pioneer Wrestling team had four out of eight competing athletes earn medals Saturday at the 4A East Conference Tournament in Little Rock.
All four were also named all-conference.
Fernando Carroza won first place in his class and is the conference champion of the 4A East in the 113 class. Eric Carroza placed second in the 106 class as a freshman. DJ Van Stanford placed third in the 120 class as a freshman. And Garrett Rice won third place in the 126 class as a freshman.
The state tournament is next Friday and Saturday at UALR in Little Rock.
