Obituary: Madge L. Huff

Madge L. Huff, 91, of Charlotte, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020.

She was born on March 15, 1928 in Camden, Missouri to Tom A. Black and Jane (Looney) Black.

Madge was of the Pentecostal Faith and she was passionate about her children, grandchildren and her dog Butch.

She was a nurse for 40 years as well as a homemaker and farmer. She loved taking care of livestock and family. She enjoyed the outdoors and farming. She even ran the concession stand at the H&H Rodeo, cooking burgers for all the children.

Survivors include her four sons, Billy (Phyllis) Huff, Bryan Huff, Boyd (Kari) Huff, and Brad Huff all of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Crystal (Eric) Perkey, Micheal Huff, Kevin (Monique) Huff, Andrea Huff, and Candi Huff; and six great-grandchildren, Brayden Perkey, Kailan Thomas, Chase Thomas, Gunnar Stephens, Rylan Huff, and Emmet Huff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Riley Huff; great-grandchild, Shelby Morrison; three brothers, Orville Black, Don Black, and Oby Black; and two sisters, Hazel Crawl and Mildred Black.

Pallbearers are Billy Huff, Bryan Huff, Boyd Huff, Brad Huff, Kevin Huff, and Micheal Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Perkey, Eric Perkey, Edward Briscoe, Bill Boles, Marcus Herring, and Tommy Crummley.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville with Robert Gene Melton and Tommy Boles officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at the funeral home.
