The Mountain View Lady Yellowjackets punch their ticket to next week’s 3A State Tournament and advance to the semi-finals of the 3A-1 Regional Tournament with a 57-44 victory over the West Fork Lady Tigers.
West Fork jumped out to an early 9-7 lead but the Lady Yellowjackets went on a 23-0 run to take a commanding 30-9 lead late in the second quarter.
The Lady Tigers would hit seven second half threes to climb closer but never could cut the Mountain View lead to less than 10 as the Lady Yellowjackets held on to win 57-44.
Junior Aubrey Isbell and Sophomore Josie Storey each had 16 points, while Chaelann Vickers had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Kennedy Holland and Avery Decker each added six points.
Mountain View improved to 23-4, while West Fork finished their season at 14-15.
