The Southside Lady Southerners punched their ticket to the state tournament in Farmington as they dominated the Stuttgart Ricebirds from the opening tip to the final buzzer winning 73-39.
The Southerners led 19-7 at the end of the first quarter behind Reese Gardners 10 points.
London Cuzzort hit for six points in the second quarter as the Southerners led 38-17 at halftime.
Cuzzort put in seven in the third and Kamie Jenkins added six points in the final quarter as the Southerners improved to 23-5 on the season and will take on Pulaski Academy at 7 p.m. Thursday night in the semifinals.
Reese Gardner led the way with 20 points, London Cuzzort had 16, Olivia Allen 14, Kamie Jenkins scored eight, Shelby Warden and Brett Gardner each had six points.
