Obituary: Eloise Claxton Wilson

Eloise Claxton Wilson, 99, of Little Rock died March 4, 2020.

She was born on January 19, 1921, in Texas to Charlie Cluster and Pearl (Baxter) Claxton.

Eloise was a member of West Baptist Church. She worked at JK Southerland and Banquet Foods. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and shooting archery and loved to watch sports on TV.

She is survived by two sons, Charlie Wilson of Alexander, Albert Wilson of Jacksonville; one daughter, Linda Roberts (Ted) of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Cynthia Calicott, Scott Graves and his wife Sharon, Sydni Wilson, Madison West, Leslie Roberts; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Sidney Wilson; one daughter, Lillie Ann Wilson; and two brothers, Thurman and Herman Claxton.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Cynthia Calicott, Scott Graves, Sydni Wilson, Madison West, Leslie Roberts, and her great-grandchildren, J.C. Calicott, Ethan Graves, and Allison Graves.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville at 11:00am with Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitations will be from 10:00am until 11:00am before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
