Batesville Lady Pioneers ended their season Saturday against Farmington

The Batesville Lady Pioneers had their season end in the semifinals of the 4A State Tournament against the Farmington Lady Cardinals.  

The Lady Cardinals went 27/30 from the foul line and their top scorers had 20, 20 and 19 points respectively.  

Batesville was led by Junior Izzy Higginbottom who had 17 points at the end of three frames and added 21 in the fourth for a total of 38. 

The Lady Pioneers are one of the top four teams in the state with a record of 30-3 after winning it all just last year with the same record.
