Morris Dunivan, 84, of Newport departed this life Friday, March 6, 2020. He was born September 3, 1935, to Jim and Ellen (Henderson) Dunivan. Dunivan was a member of Jacksonport Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Dunivan; parents; brothers, Bob Rush, Carl Dunivan, Jesse Dunivan, and Boyce Dunivan; and sister, Loyce Hicks.
His survivors are sons, J.M. “Jessie” Dunivan (Katie) of Jacksonport, and Benjy Dunivan (Kristen) of Charlotte; daughter, Tammy King (Jim) of Huntsville, Texas; sister, Joyce Guffey (Jay) of Jacksonport; ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held in the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, March 9.
Officiating was Billy Ed Morris.
