Independence County Sheriff’s Department deputies are on the lookout for a moped recently stolen from a resident in the 3500 block of Antioch Road.

The resident reported to police that Saturday morning he noted the gate in front of his house had been left open, and his horse had wandered down the road. Later in the day, he noticed his moped missing.

The Viper Prime moped is described as a 49cc, and red and white in color. The owner said the right side is missing a footpeg, and there is a hole on the left side of the front seat.

He added that the front forks are slightly bent. Contact the Independence County Sheriff’s Department at (870) 793-8838 if you have information concerning this moped.
