An 18-wheeler was stuck for a while Tuesday morning after ‘jackknifing’ in the Ramsey Mountain curve, south of Batesville.
Independence County Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Glen Willis commented on today’s incident. Willis noticed the truck while driving in for a different work-related task.
“It appears like he just lost traction and it jackknifed. I didn’t see any other vehicles involved or anything like that. Didn’t look like there was any damage to the truck,” said Willis.
Traffic is now moving smoothly through that portion of Highway 167.
