An arrest warrant was recently issued for a Sulphur Rock parolee who had not reported to his parole officer for more than six months and was still absconding supervision.

Circuit Court records say Stefon T. Simon, 32, on October 30, 2018, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to the charge of being a certain person in possession of a firearm.

Simon had been sentenced to 60-months probation, subject to various terms and conditions.

The court documents said Simon has not reported to Probation and Parole since July 3, 2019.

The 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney, Eric Hance, has officially asked the court for a Petition of Revocation for the court to hold a hearing and revoke the probation of the defendant.

According to the Circuit Court records, bail will not be allowed.
