Willard Ray Wadley, 86, of Newport departed this life Friday, March 20, 2020. He was born September 22, 1933, to Rufus and Clesta (Roberts) Wadley and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a faithful Gideon. He enjoyed working with the Humane Society, caring for unwanted dogs, helping people, and collecting dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Marie Wadley, one son; Willard Wadley, Jr., his parents, two brothers; Wiley Wadley and R.J. Wadley, and two sisters; Hazel Brooks and Barbara Hutchison.
His survivors are one daughter; Betty Marie Castro (Anthony) of Calif., brother; Dale Wadley of Ky., and sister; Carolyn Wadley of Hardford, Mich.
There will be no services.
