A vehicle stolen from a residence on Blackland Road near Oil Trough ended up being impounded by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
The vehicle was reported stolen to the Independence County Sheriff’s Department on April 8.
Apparently, the vehicle had been impounded by White County authorities after two individuals were arrested while driving the car.
The car owners went through the Independence County Sheriff’s Department to regain possession of the stolen vehicle.
