Obituary: Dale Wayne Nealey

Dale Wayne Nealey, 62, of Batesville died Friday, April 10, 2020, at WRMC. He was born on October 3, 1957, in Mountain View to Paul and Cora Ann Nealey.

After graduating from Southside High School, he began his career as a Diecast worker at White Rodgers in Batesville. He was married to the love of his life, Cheryl and fathered two children, Travis David and Cara Darlene. He was of the Baptist faith. Dale was a loving husband, father, brother-in-law and uncle.  A lover of classic and southern rock, Dale was a one of a kind and generous man who loved spending time with friends and family. He was also a strong believer of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edna & Don Nealey, Cena and Oscar Smith, and father, Paul Nealey.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cheryl Anderson Nealey of the home; one son, Travis and his wife Emily Nealey of Ardmore Okla.; one daughter, Cara and her husband Kory O’Brien of Marion; his mother, Cora Ann Nealey of Batesville; one sister, Lisa and her husband Scott Boone of Russellville; brother and sister in law, Brian and Darlene Diercouff; niece, Emily Boone; and a host of other relatives and friends.
