Obituary: Donnie Lee Rawlings, Jr, local businessman, owner of Tadpole’s

Donnie Lee Rawlings, Jr, 55 of Batesville, formerly of Malden, Mo. was born on September 16, 1964, in Kennett, Mo. to Patsy Anderson Rawlings and the late Donald Lee Rawlings. He passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020, in Houston, Texas.

Donnie was the market coach area supervisor for KFC and was the owner/operator of Tadpole’s Catfish Barn in Pleasant Plains. Donnie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Batesville. He was united in marriage to Linda Green on June 18, 1988, in Campbell, Mo. She survives of the home.

His survivors include his wife: Linda Rawlings of the home; six sons: Donnie Lee Rawlings, Jr. of Sacramento, Calif., Gary Rawlings and wife, Paige of Arbyrd, Mo., Dustin Rawlings of Weiser, Idaho, Michael Rawlings and wife, Angel of Batesville, Dean Rawlings and wife, Betsy of Springdale and  Jacob Rawlings of Batesville; Mother: Patsy Rawlings of Malden, Mo.; Ten grandchildren: Michele Rawlings, Nicole Rawlings, Amanda Rawlings, Amber Rawlings, Olivia Rawlings, Keegan McCall, Kendall McCall, Murphy McCall Violet McCall and Charlie McCall; three brothers: Tim Rawlings and wife, Kristie of Dexter, Mo., Mike Rawlings and wife, Tammy of Malden, Mo., Keith Rawlings and wife, Kristi of Malden, Mo.; Sister: Sandra Salsbury and husband, Billy of Malden, Mo. and his beloved puppy: Rowdy.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father: Donald Lee Rawlings.

Family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell, Mio. with Reverend Bryan Johnson Officiating.
