With the events that have unfolded over the past few weeks, many people can experience an overload of anxiety and worry. Lindsey Bowers, community education coordinator for behavioral health services at White River Health System (WRHS), visited with White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker about WRHS’ new Hope Line.
Bowers tells Whiteaker that such individuals can now call the Hope Line and discuss mental health care, self-care tips, information about community resources, medical assistance, and more.
The Hope Line is (870) 262-HOPE (4673). This is a free service of WRHS, and someone is available to take calls Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
