According to a Wednesday afternoon post on Batesville High School’s Facebook page, BHS Senior Parents have been approved by city officials to have a Senior Class Convoy down Main Street, Friday, May 15, as long as COVID-19 social distancing guidelines are strictly enforced.

The vehicle convoy will line up at the parking lot of Bill’s Cash Saver Cost Plus Supermarket in the Town Plaza Shopping Center, 1245 E. Main St., at 6:45 p.m. The convoy will start at 7 p.m.

Seniors are encouraged to wear their cap and gown as well as decorate their vehicles.

To ensure everyone follows safe distancing protocol, each graduate is asked to ride in their own vehicle or that of a family member, the post said. And no gathering of crowds will be permitted before or after the convoy.
