Latrell Nashun Worsham, 15, of Newport departed this life Monday, May 25, 2020. He was born June 18, 2004, in Newport, Arkansas to Gerald Reed and Shanique Worsham. He attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he was baptized and later became a member of Holden Avenue Church of Christ. Latrell liked to rap and was interested in horses. He attended Newport High School and played Grey Pups softball from 4th to 7th grades.
He is survived by his father; Gerald Reed of Newport, and mother and stepfather; Shantique Worsham and Alonzo Wren, brothers; Jaterrel Worsham of Newport, Clemmie Alcorn of Newport, and stepbrother; DeVorte Balentine of Springdale, D`Anthony Wren of Newport, sister; Cynthia Wren of Newport, Iyanla Reed of Newport, Ailyha Green of Newport, stepsisters; Nia Wren of Newport, and Alonzah Wren of Newport, grandmothers; Olivia Bailey of Newport, and Kathy Porter of Newport, and grandparents; Lisa and Hershel Finch of Newport. And a special tribute to great grandmother Ms. Esterine Robinson.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2020, at the funeral home.
