Two threats with a firearm, a vehicle pursuit across two counties, and a suspect barricading himself in a residence, and then, a surrender.

KAIT said that’s what happened Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, Independence County authorities said Buddy Hess pulled a firearm on an individual in Pleasant Plains.

On Wednesday, he allegedly pulled a firearm out on another person in White County. That activity led to a vehicle pursuit beginning near Bradford in White County and ending at a Possum Grape residence in Jackson County.

The authorities in Jackson County said Hess refused to come out of the house for about half an hour. Authorities then talked him into surrendering.

On Thursday, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department was to deliver Hess to White County authorities.
