Stone County woman sentenced to four years for meth possession

During sentencing day in Stone County Circuit Court, a Stone County woman was sent to prison on a 4-year term. The woman, identified as Hollie Lynette Engle, 40, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to only one charge — possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine. Engle also received a 24-month suspended sentence on the offense that occurred in July of last year.

In addition, Engle was ordered to pay $545 in court costs as well as restitution involved in the negotiated plea.
