Alice Fay Holt, 73, of Newport departed this life Monday, June 1, 2020. She was born September 8, 1946, to Hammer and Grace (Woods) Woods. She was of the Baptist Belief. Holt enjoyed cooking, talking, reading her Bible, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Lewis Woods, and sisters; Sandra Tubbs, Betty Bramlett, and Hazel Estes.
Her survivors are a daughter; Jeanie Burgess of Newport, brother; Danny Woods of North Fork, grandchildren; Robert Cheshier of Newport, and Felicia Talley of Newport, and great-grandchildren; Regan Cheshier, Memphis Cheshier, Remmington Cheshier, Bella Cheshier, Audrey Talley, Joe Talley, and Annabell Talley.
There will be no funeral service.
