The Batesville High School swim team finally received their state championship rings on Tuesday, June 9.
The big reveal happened at the Batesville Community Center where the athletes and their families were able to attend.
The team clinched the 1A-4A state title after taking runner-up the previous year. Adrian Davis (senior), Joseph Wells (senior), Anthony Sonnier (junior), Keegan Sudol (sophomore), and Nathan Hernandez (sophomore) received All-State swim certificates as well.
In a media release, the team thanked their sponsors: Citizens Bank, First Community Bank, Woods Family Dealership, and White River Medical Center for assisting the athletes with their rings.
The team’s head coach is Alfredo Aleman, and the assistant coach is Khang Nguyen.
