Kristie Jenkins, the district wellness coordinator for the Southside School District, has announced that Southside athletic physicals will begin tomorrow, June 17, for girls entering grades 7 through 12, and Thursday for boys entering grades 7 through 12. The physicals will be in the Southside gym from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Masks are required, and students are asked to complete a Preparticipation Physical Evaluation History Form so there will be no need to fill out paperwork at the physicals.
Jenkins told White River Now’s Gary Bridgman on Tuesday that the free service is done in conjunction with the district’s school-based healthcare provider, ARCare. And, if any boy or girl can not make these dates, Jenkins said accommodations will be made.
