According to a news release, White River Medical Center (WRMC) is reopening the East Entrance Wednesday, June 17 at 5:30 a.m.
Patients with appointments for Cardiac Catheterization (Heart Cath), Outpatient Laboratory, Radiology, and Surgery should use the East Entrance to enter the hospital.
Patients requiring emergency medical treatment will continue to use the Emergency (West) Entrance.
Temperature screening, questions regarding symptoms, and face coverings (masks) are required for everyone entering the building. Visitors are not allowed except under special circumstances.
The East entrance will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
“We understand the hardship these restrictions create for our patients and their families,” WRMC said in the release. “We appreciate the patience and understanding of our community while we work to deliver excellent medical care and keep our patients and employees safe.”
