MaryAnn Stracener, 75 of Batesville died Saturday, June 20, 2020. She was born September 11, 1944, in Belen, New Mexico to Jacobo and Maria Sallas Moya. She was retired from Lyon College in Batesville having worked in the admissions and financial aid office; worked several years at the Citizens Bank in Batesville and was former Recorder/Treasurer for the City of Pleasant Plains. She was a member of St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Heber Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Thomas Stracener; and a sister, Suzann Baca.
Survivors include one daughter, Jacqueline Stracener of Batesville; one granddaughter, Megan Bristow; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Robert Jones officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
