Clarence Branscum, 93 of Floral died Saturday, June 27, 2020, at his home. He was born July 15, 1926, in Calico Rock to Elbert and Nettie Pearl Green Branscum. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic and a member of the Salado Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Virginia Ross Branscum; one son, James Robert Branscum; three brothers, Edward, Thurlow and Billy Branscum and one sister, Irene Branscum Lucy.
Survivors include one son, Donald Branscum (Rhonda) of Batesville; three daughters, Brenda Branscum McCans (Raymond) of Batesville, June Branscum Holman (Charles) and Kathy Branscum Barnett (Ronald) both of Floral; two brothers, Finis Branscum and Richard Branscum both of Salado; one sister, Dorothy Branscum Ferguson (Jerry) of Salado; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Maple Springs Cemetery near Rosie with Bro. Curt Howard officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation will be Monday, June 29, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons.
