Thursday afternoon, a local Mexican restaurant, Mi Ranchito, caught fire.
A restaurant employee told White River Now at the scene that all occupants made it out of the structure safe, and that the fire was possibly caused by a cigarette.
As of 2 p.m. personnel from Batesville Fire Department, Batesville Police Department, and Vital Link Ambulance service remained on the scene.
