Southside’s Caleb Patterson signs letter of intent to bowl at Kansas Wesleyan University


Caleb Patterson, a senior at Southside Charter High School, has become the second SHS bowler this season to sign a letter of intent to continue his bowling career at the collegiate level. He will be attending Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kan.   

During his career at SHS, Patterson earned All-Conference honors in 2019 and All-State honors in 2020. He was also the individual gold medalist this year at the state tournament. 

Patterson also led the Southerner bowling team to back-to-back conference tournament runner-up finishes 2019 and 2020 and to the 4A-3A State Championship this year.

Patterson holds the school records for high game (268), high 3-game series (644), total career games bowled (108). His high average for a season 197.1, which he set this past season.
