Wayne Dawson, 75, of Grubbs departed this life Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was born February 27, 1945, to Clyde and Abby Genoa (Howlett) Dawson and was of the Baptist Belief. Dawson enjoyed farming, as well as being on the farm with Marcus and Ashton, deer, rabbit and squirrel hunting, watching John Wayne movies, vegetable gardening, Cardinal Baseball, watching his granddaughter play sports, and he loved his family deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Jerry Phillips and one sister; Anna Ivy.
His survivors are his wife of 56 years; Ann Dawson of the home, one son; Mark Dawson and wife Tina of Grubbs, one daughter; Rhonda Wallis and husband Allan of Grubbs, one brother; John Dawson and wife Sharron of Grubbs, four grandchildren; Marcus Wallis (Ashton), Brandi Easter, Aggie Dawson, and Ansley Dawson, two great-grandchildren; Aubri Easter and Avery Wallis, five nephews and two nieces.
