Elmer Franklin White, Jr. of Batesville departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the age of 69. He was born August 19, 1950, in Bethesda, the son of Elmer “Son” Franklin White, Sr., and Margaret (Neiderbrach) White.
White was a member of the Magness Missionary Baptist Church and a volunteer fireman for the city of Cushman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending auctions. Mr. White especially loved visiting with his family on the phone.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Brokaw) White; second wife, Brenda (Travis) White; four brothers, Bob, Delbert, Carl, and Jerry White; and his parents.
White is survived by three brothers, Dexter White and wife, Linda, of Locust Grove, Kenneth White and wife, Janie, of Mabelville, and Darrell White of Gainesboro; five sisters, Kathern Fisher of Jacksonville, Wanda Aldrich of Gainesboro, Debbie Martinez of Abeline, TX, Shirley Anderson of San Antonio, TX, and Edie Moss of Little Rock; a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and friends.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Liberty Cemetery at Gainesboro, with Mr. Lyle Neiderbrach officiating.
