Genevive Tubbs Rodriguez, 67, of Newport departed this life Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was born January 1, 1953, to George W. and Judy (Bice) Tubbs and was a member of Ballews Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching cowboy movies, hallmark movies, and gambling.
She was preceded in death by her father; George W. Tubbs.
Her survivors are her husband; Edward Rodriguez of the home, mother; Judy Tubbs, sons; Bryan Moss (Rachel) of Swifton, Jeremy Moss (Jessica) of Tuckerman, John Rodriguez of Texas, and Edward Rodriguez of Texas, daughters; Barbara Young of Texas and Valerie Arnold of Texas, brothers; Kenneth Tubbs (Kathy) of Tuckerman, and Robby Dale Tubbs, sister; Susan Elliott (Nick) of Newport, grandchildren; Abbi Moss, Jordyn, Madyson, Devon, Ashley, Laurie, Priscilla, Maya, Kara and Nathan, and special friends; Angela McKissac, Glenda Sharp, Teresa Crotts, Johnnie Powers Reynolds, and Retha Dudley.
Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are required at all visitations and funerals.
