Southside choir director recognized by National Federation of State High Schools

Southside Charter High School Choir Director Angie Weaver (pictured) was recently recognized by the National Federation of State High Schools for an Outstanding Music Educator award.

According to the National Federation of State High Schools website, “One nominee per state is accepted for this award, and the nominee must be endorsed by the state association office. Criteria for evaluation include organization and continuance of an activity program, significant and ongoing contributions to the field, years of both curricular and co-curricular service, contributions to the profession both in and out of the state.”

Congratulations to Angie Weaver on her recognition for “outstanding service and unselfish devotion to interscholastic music programs.”
